Originally from Mardin, Turkey. 

The origin of our family’s name is (Kass Kandy): The priest (Kandy).

Our grand father Ibrahim worked as farrier or blacksmith,

 that's why we called (Nael Band) in the Turkish language or (Bitar) in Arabic.

Brahim's family moved to Lebanon and Syria between 1910 to 1923.

Latest information about Kass Kandy, were a married priest 
and got a unique son called Elias.
